I grew up in Nova Scotia, Canada, where I trained classically through the Royal Conservatory of Music. After earning my B.A. in Music in 1995, I moved to Detroit and have worked as a full-time musician ever since.
I’m a Detroit Music Award nominee for Outstanding Keyboardist and have toured extensively, opening for major artists like Sheryl Crow, Daughtry, and Darius Rucker. I’ve performed as a piano entertainer in more than 40 states and internationally, and I currently tour with Uncle Kracker.

A: It would be helpful to have some familiarity with playing the piano and some chord knowledge already, as most of the concepts we’ll discuss are aimed at helping intermediate players level up their game. HOWEVER, that isn't completely necessary. If you’re an ambitious beginner who wants to work with me…let’s go!
